Blood Geyser
Erupting from the pulsing heart of South Philadelphia and straight into your eardrums, eyeballs, and squishy gray matter, it’s …
BLOOD GEYSER!
The pretty bad, maybe ass chaos pop quartet are rdy 2 get u fckt up* with their catchy two-part harmonies, snappy riffs, and plasma-pumping dance numbers. Their aberrant, no-fucks-given attitude and casual disregard for convention can be summed up in their two-part motto: “Keep it simple and stupid; NO SAD SHIT!”
Channeling pure, unhinged joie de vivre, Blood Geyser features Kevin “Rio Speedwagon” McLean (of The Filthy Pints and The Asthmatix) laying down bass and backup vocals, with Ricky “Lovehandles” Dormoi (of Under 95 and Degenerate Scum) on drums, Jonny “Phallus Cooper” Lim (formerly of Bern & the Bastards) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Bryan “Bronco Van Halen” DeBellis (formerly of Sedated) on lead guitar and occasional shouting.
With songs about cyborgism, mental stability, falling in love with babely space aliens, and Freddy Kreuger, Blood Geyser is an ongoing love letter to the low arts of genre cinema, flashy viscera, and finger-snappin’ tunes, Daddy-O. Their début release, the four-song This is Gonna Hurt! EP, is set to be released on Phameless Records in 202X.
Having shared the stage with the likes of The Prozacs, The Termites, Doc Rotten, and Seeing Snakes, Blood Geyser is quickly making a name for themselves in their hometown of South Philly, with eyes set on an interplanetary tour of Elon Musk’s Martian mining colony and whatever Jeff Bezos plans to do on the moon (you know it’s coming).
So peel off your eyelids and be on the lookout for Blood Geyser, coming soon to a stage (or sweaty basement) near you!
